Acclaimed director Hisako Matsui brings us the true life story of Leonie Gilmour, an American editor and journalist in the early 20th century, who falls in love with a famous Japanese poet and gives birth to Isamu Noguchi, the world renowned sculptor and architect.
The sweeping film was shot on locations across Japan and the U.S. bringing together international talent to tell the tale of an American woman, a century ahead of her time, who raised Isamu Noguchi, a creative genius born of two worlds.
